If you have a great credit ranking, then you are able to select from the entire array of best buy credit cards, and benefit from offers such as cash rebates, balance transfer offers, and rewards. But if your credit ranking isn't too good, your options are more restricted. You may be able to get one of the more expensive cards that have less exacting acceptance criteria, or even just be offered a card which has a higher interest rate than that presented in the marketing campaigns. In difficult situations, you may have to settle for a prepaid charge card which you have to load with credit before you can use it.
